Statement of Faith

What We Believe

The Holy Bible is God’s precious gift to mankind. The Bible is His Word, written by men inspired by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is ordained by the Lord because it is His perfect wisdom. In it contains the perfection of knowledge and life.

The Godhead: God the Father, God the Son (Colossians 2:9), and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus says He and the Father are two separate persons in John 8:17-18. Jesus says how He and the Father will abide in those that love or obey Him in John 14:23.

God created all men in His image Genesis 1:26.

We believe that Jesus is the Son of God and also God, Revelation 1:8, John 8:58, Rev 1:17, Isaiah 44:6, Micah 5:2, John 1:1.

All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God Romans 3:23. Romans 5:12 says sin was passed down from Adam to all men. How? This was through evil knowledge. The sin passed down was from Adam and Eve accepting the lie from Satan. Before Satan spoke to them, Adam and Eve were communicating with God, and God did not put any evil knowledge in them. Once they accepted Satan’s lie, their knowledge became corrupted. Satan put evil knowledge in them, and they used their free will to choose and accept this evil knowledge to make a decision to go against God. They then took this evil knowledge, corrupted wisdom, and passed it down to their children, and their children passed it down and so on. Thus, this passing down of sin is from evil knowledge, not from seed or birth. Jesus says little children go to heaven Matthew 19:14, indicating we are not born sinners but become sinners through knowledge we attain as we grow from youth. Thus, we believe in original sin, which is the passing down of evil knowledge from Adam, not literal seed, but spiritual seed which is knowledge. This is why the children of Abraham are spiritual Galatians 3:29, John 8:39.

After Adam and Eve went against God, God proclaimed His Divine plan to save mankind Genesis 3:15. He promised to give us a Savior that would destroy the works that Satan first started 1 John 3:8. Jesus is the Messiah prophecied of in the Old Testament, Daniel 9:25-27, Isaiah 53. He is the promised Savior to save mankind, and He is the only Savior Luke 2:11, John 14:6.

Jesus lived, died and rose again 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. He did literal miracles that did happen, even raising the dead John 11:43-44.

Jesus never started any religion or denomination but commanded all to follow Him directly, Matthew 16:24.

Jesus came for a few reasons to accomplish saving mankind. The first reason was He came to teach us His perfect ways Micah 4:2. Jesus is the only One who walked this earth and never sinned 1 Peter 2:22. Jesus had the perfect faith that pleased the Father. That faith must become our faith. We must follow His teachings and example in order to be true followers of Him. This means we are to live holy and obedient to God 1 Peter 1:16.

Jesus also came to prove the perfect faith we must have Hebrews 5:9. This is the faith the Father is looking for from us. Jesus’ blood saves us because His blood is the fulfillment of perfect obedience to the Father until death Luke 22:42. His blood atones for our sins as a covenant, meaning we must do our part to keep the agreement in obedience by drinking the same cup He drank, His own blood Matthew 20:22. This means He drank or obeyed the Father perfectly until the death. Jesus is the only Mediator or perfect intercessor between us and God 1 Timothy 2:5, John 14:6. God accepted the Son’s request to have mercy on us, thus bringing us into a covenant relationship He is wanting to make with us out of His perfect love John 3:16.

Jesus came to atone for our sins John 1:29. Jesus is the only intermediator between God and man 1 Tim 2:5. His blood purchased us out of slavery to sin, thus making Him our Redeemer. His blood cleanses us from sin if we walk in the Light, which means obedience 1 John 1:7, and will be our covering to salvation until the Lord welcomes us into His eternal rest.

In order to first be saved, one must pray and accept Jesus out loudly. It is His will for us to believe in Him through our word, John 17:20.

In order to become a follower of Jesus, one must count the cost  for there will be a cross to carry, a hard life to live, a narrow path, in order to enter His perfect, kingdom Matthew 7:13-14, Luke 14:28. One must be willing to live according to His will over their own Matthew 7:21.

After accepting Jesus truly with all one’s heart, one must then start to read the Gospels and obey Jesus unto salvation Hebrews 5:9. We must abide in Him that He may abide in us John 15:4.

Water baptism was done by Jesus and should by done by us also for the remission of sins in the name of Jesus Acts 2:38.

After accepting Jesus as one’s personal Lord and Savior, this does not mean someone gets the Holy Spirit right away. The Holy Spirit is given to “those that obey Him,” Acts 5:32. Jesus says to ask for the Holy Spirit, Luke 11:13, implying He does not dwell in us right away. The believers in Acts 19:1-7 were not filled with the Holy Spirit until Paul came. They were baptized in the baptism of John until Paul asked, “have you received the Holy Spirit?”

There are 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 12:8-11. These gifts are for all and given by the Spirit as He wills through the baptism of the Holy Spirit mentioned in John 1. He still moves through people to this day through the 9 gifts. The 9 gifts are the power against the enemy, the power Jesus promised us Acts 1:8. The evidence one is officially sealed or filled with the Spirit comes through speaking in tongues or prophecying as seen throughout the book of Acts (Acts 2:4, Acts 19:6). Though the person may not receive the gift of tongues or prophecy, the initial moment being filled by the Spirit will reveal through such gifts as proof the person has been baptized by Him. Jesus confirms His true believers will have the gifts or these kinds of signs following them in the end of Mark 16. The Holy Spirit has not ceased moving through the gifts. He still does miracles to this day, some of which we have witnessed and He has used us for by His grace. Because the Holy Spirit still moves, He still has prophets of His to this day 1 Corinthians 14:29. There are also 9 fruits of the Holy Spirit Galatians 5:22-23.

We believe grace, with respect to salvation, is the chance to repent. Without true repentance, there is no grace and no salvation, Luke 13:3, 5  Mark 1:15, John 3:3, Hebrews 5:9, Luke 13:6-9, Luke 19:1-10, Revelation 2:7, 11.

Once gaining salvation through initial belief and acceptance of Jesus Mark 1:14-15, one could lose their salvation Revelation 3:16, the last parable in Matthew 18 strongly proves this. If we choose to go back to our sins after accepting Christ in living a life of willful sin, we have then lost the sacrifice on the cross as our way into heaven Hebrews 10:26. We get His blood to atone for our sins only if we do not walk in darkness or sin, but instead walk in the light 1 John 1:6-7. Those who are born of God are not permitted to sin 1 John 3:9. The wages of sin is death Romans 6:23. He who starts the walk as a true Christ follower but looks back and then goes back to their old life is not fit for the kingdom of God Luke 9:62, Matthew 7:21-23, Luke 6:46-49, Luke 13:3-5. After gaining salvation, we must read His Word and then put it into practice in our lives. This then shows we are serious and we will then slowly change as we grow in His wisdom, with the help of the Holy Spirit John 16:8. This change is mandatory in order to enter His kingdom, as we must become completely different people, holy John 3:3.

Obedience is the top priority to God, from cover to cover in the Bible, and those that have right to enter into His kingdom will obey Him, Revelation 22:14, John 15:10, John 14:15, John 14:23, Hebrews 5:9. Obedience proves we love Jesus and that He truly is the Lord over our lives Luke 6:46-49.

Faith without works is dead per James chapter 2. Works is not merely a sign of one’s salvation, it is a is a duty we must have in order to please God Matthew 25:35-45, John 8:39. Jesus says, “If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off…” This proves He says to cut off the sin in order to go to heaven. He did not say you are saved and will cut your hand off naturally as proof of your salvation.

Hell is a real, literal place Luke 16:23, where one is not destroyed but is able to feel the pain and suffering as mentioned by Jesus three times in Mark chapter 9.

Marriage is between one man and one woman only Matthew 19:4-5. Man is the head of the household, not women Ephesians 5:22-23. Homosexuality is a sin that leads to hell, 1 Cor. 6:9-10. Homosexuality is a perversion of love in the form of perverted lust. We believe there is hope for the homosexual and transgender through Christ, who came to set the captives free and bring deliverance to those oppressed spiritually. We love homosexuals and care for their souls wanting them to be saved just like all other sinners. But love is not always tolerance, and if God does not tolerate that lifestyle, we do not either. We must not tolerate any lifestyle of sin.

Women must submit to their husbands like they would submit to God Almighty, through obedience Ephesians 22. Husbands are to love their wives Ephesians 5:33. Children are a blessing from the Lord Psalm 127. Women are not to be contentious as mentioned in the Proverbs. They are to be quiet, meek, submissive spirits. They are not to hold positions usurping authority over men nor correcting them within the Body of Christ, 1 Timothy 2:12. We do believe women are equal in value and precious in the sight of God. Women can be used mightily, even like with great power the Spirit can do great miracles through Romans 16:7.

Babies are persons the instant they start forming in the womb Jeremiah 1:5, Luke 1:15, 41. Therefore, abortion is murder, and God hates hands that shed innocent blood Proverbs 6:17.

Church and state should never be separate. The Holy Bible is God’s perfect wisdom. Through His wisdom, we as a society can live in perfect peace, love and joy. Therefore, how can anyone dare try to separate that from our society? Rather, atheism and state should be separate. We believe this phrase (separation of church and state) has been taken out of context from Thomas Jefferson, and that he really meant that the church or the body of Christ, should not be seen the same in the eyes of the law. Christ’s body should be holy and separate from the worldly, much like God separated His people when having them come into the land of Canaan. For example, no Christian baker should be forced to bake a gay wedding cake by law. There must be a separation from God’s people from the state, a hedge of protection that is, for the church, not its destruction! We believe Jefferson thought of the first Americans coming to America in the same way. No religion that produces harm should be legal nor respected because in God’s eyes, they are not legal nor respected by Him. We do not believe in accepting all religions or lifestyles that produce evil in God’s eyes because the foundational doctrine from the source derived of such religion promotes such evil acts. We are to love all people however, as this is what Jesus commands us to do, and we must try and help such lost souls come out of their spiritual blindness so they can go to heaven. Love is not always tolerant, however. Love rejoices in the truth 1 Corinthians 13:6. Though we do not accept other religious or lifestyle beliefs nor respect the doctrines behind them, we still must love all of our neighbors Matthew 22:39 by warning them of the dangers, the eternal hell fire consequences, of choosing to abide in such lifestyles and/or religions.

We Christians have power to put our foot down on evil and overcome, including in government affairs Luke 10:19. We are to take that authority and not be lazy in allowing Satan to overtake our schools, courts, police, and government bodies by roaring like lions boldly in the face of evil legislation and political correctness Proverbs 28:1. There are evil, demonic people in the government, and though we do not fight any flesh and blood, we do fight spiritually with the wisdom of God in the face of such evil people in high positions Ephesians 6:12. This means constantly spreading His wisdom by witnessing, not physical violence.

Evolution is a lie and is brainwashing our children to their own destruction. Jesus says God created us from Adam and Eve in Matthew 19. Jesus rose from the dead to prove His teachings are true. No scientist raised themselves from the dead on their own authority. So we listen to what Jesus says, not the dead fools. All atheists are fools Psalms 14:1. Though they are foolish and destroying our society with the rise and spread of their foolish, evil knowledge, we must be active in fighting against it as spiritual fighters through constant evangelism. Jesus says His true servants would do so John 18:36, 2 Timothy 2:4.

Evangelism is extremely crucial to being a true follower of Christ. Without actively witnessing to people, one proves not to truly be abiding in Christ John 15:2. We are commanded to evangelize Mark 16:15, Matthew 10:27, preaching repentance and remission of sins Luke 24:47 to help people come to following Jesus Matthew 16:24. It is not possible to be a true Christ follower without evangelizing people. Jesus went from area to area preaching and teaching, and if He did it so must we that we may bring forth fruit or souls to God Matthew 13:23. If we do not bring souls to Him, we can be cut off from Him John 15:2. He commands us to go and bring forth fruit, which is souls in John 15:16.

Tithing is not just for the Old Testament covenant. Tithing was done by Jacob from the heart before the Mosaic law. Why 10% from him? Why was that in Jacob's heart? Why not another amount? In the New Testament, with the first church, Christians did not tithe, they gave much, much more. Jesus says it is better to give than to receive. Those who have big faith and love towards God and His Body give more. Those who do not love God nor His Body do not give or give very little. Tithing is meant to be an act of love between one and God, where they want to prove their love to Him more than their money. It is a spiritual discipline between the person and the Lord. The Lord loves when we give cheerfully 2 Corinthians 9:7. Also, missionaries worldwide need the funds to continue the work of the Lord. If the body is disobedient, then the funds for the missionaries will not come through, and those missionaries will cry in prayer begging God to come through to help them. That time they cry out to God and worry when the funds will come through so they can provide for themselves and their families could have been for them to go out in the streets working for the Lord. So giving is truly an act of obedience 2 Corinthians 8 and 9 teaches while also proving whatever we give to the worker of the Lord, counts for our righteousness as well (whomever souls the missionary partners win for Jesus).

The devil and demons are real, and we often refer to them as one with the terms, “Satan” or “the enemy.” Satan is the god of this world currently 2 Corinthians 4:4, 1 John 4:4. People can be possessed or have unclean spirits where Jesus can deliver them John 8:32-36, Matthew 12:43-45.

We believe in true, brotherly/sisterly love while maintaining unity John 17:23. Unity is so important which is why Jesus prayed so hard for His followers to have it in John chapter 17. We are to stay united together as a body of believers because in unity there is love and power 1 Corinthians 12:20-31.

Communion is important to do in remembrance of what Jesus did for us on the cross Luke 22:19-20.

Deliverance is for anyone both before or coming after Christ. Jesus says, "To whom the Son sets free shall be free," Jn 8:36. Jesus says a demon leaves and comes back with 7 worse when it finds the house swept and garnished. If a believer gets delivered but continues in disobedience to the Word, that leaves the door open for more demons to come back. When delivered if the believer seeks to truly repent and obey the Word, then the door is shut to the demons coming back as they cannot then find the house swept and garnished. Obedience after deliverance is the key to shutting the door to any unclean spirits. Disobedience can open the door back up for demons to have a way in.

Jesus has not returned in His second coming Luke 12:40 but will, and nobody knows the hour except the Father Matthew 25:13. We believe in a post tribulation rapture. When the antichrist comes, it says he will overcome the saints, and there will be some beheaded for not taking the mark. Those not beheaded are the true believers. Thus, also, true believers will be beheaded for resisting the mark, Revelation 13.

There will be a final judgment in which the wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works. Whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life, together with the devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet, will be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death Matthew 25:46; Mark 9:43-48; Revelation 19:20; 20:11-15; 21:8.
